FBR ( Association for Rainwater Harvesting and Water Utilisation) is a german non-profit-making organisation representing specialized companies, local authorities, engineering offices and institutions commercially or ideally involved in water recycling and rainwater harvesting.

FBR organizes conferences, work groups, trade fair presentations, publishes a members´ newspaper, serial publications and technical regulations for drinking water, water quality, Eco-balances, rainwater management, water recycling, rainwater harvesting as well as ecological sanitation technologies.

The film gives an overview about the water and waste water situation in Germany, showing alternatives and practical examples as e.g. water saving systems like the TerraNova composting toilet in different ecological projects (8:37 - 11:48).
